From oceanfront studios and restful retreats to in-house spas and pet-friendly suites, Seaside has you covered. If you’re looking for some family time by the beach, an extended vacation with the pup, or just planning on snuggling up with your loved one for a romantic weekend, consider these five unique lodgings for your coastal getaway. There are, of course, many more… we left some surprises to you!

On the Prom

Oceanside and seaside dining in the middle of it all

Just blocks from downtown, the Seaside Oceanfront Inn is conveniently located on the Prom looking out to the mighty Pacific Ocean. The top-floor Clocktower Suite sleeps four with vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace, jetted tub for two and a lofted bedroom. The location is perfect for days spent strolling into downtown Seaside, people-watching on the beach, or enjoying decadent meals oceanside at their in-house restaurant, Maggie’s on the Prom.

Ocean Views

Private oceanfront studios looking over the waves

If stunning ocean views and relaxation are on your radar, look no further than Lanai at the Cove. Only minutes to the restaurants and attractions of downtown Seaside, you can enjoy a dip in the pool or take in the expansive scenery – almost above the waves as they roll into the Cove – from the oceanfront patio of your unique studio. All units are individually owned and decorated, include a kitchenette, and sleep two to four people.

Boutique Downtown

Seaside’s newest luxury option in the heart of town

Set between the Pacific Ocean and the Necanicum River, the SaltLine Hotel’s unique architecture fuses classic grandeur with contemporary design. The rooms come alive with detail: Warm wood finishes, luxurious comforters, handcrafted carpets and signature toiletries provide a restful retreat. Kick-start the day with their continental breakfast before strolling the beach, taking a dip in the heated saltwater pool or enjoying a massage from the in-house spa.

Dog-Friendly

A hip and eco-friendly sanctuary for you and your pet

Bringing your furry friend along? The rooms, amenities and service at Ashore Hotel are sure to gain the pup’s approval. You can bring up to three pets of any size for an additional $20 per pet, and there are plenty of treats for them too. The 22 individually furnished rooms have a minimalist vibe and come with memory-foam beds and down comforters. Wind down from playing fetch on the beach with a glass of wine or organic coffee in the lobby or a relaxing session in the dry sauna.

Romantic

An adults-only retreat in an intimate setting

Located in one of the oldest homes on the Oregon Coast, the Gilbert Inn plays a central part in Seaside’s early history and is a one-of-a-kind romantic getaway for you and your loved one. Take a sunset beach stroll, snuggle in front of the outdoor fire pit and enjoy a full complimentary breakfast in the sunroom. The 11 guest rooms offer unique Victorian-era furnishings that blend comfort and elegance to create the perfect refuge for two. Make sure to reserve the romance package before you arrive so you can surprise your sweetie with a card, chocolate, fresh flowers, and sparkling cider.
