Maritime Memorial Service
This maritime memorial service honors those whose names are inscribed on the Astoria Maritime Memorial Park walls. The park is located at the rivers edge under the Astoria-Megler Bridge in the Uniontown District of Astoria. This service is sponsored by the Uniontown Association. Attendees may bring flowers to throw in the river when the names of loved ones on the wall are read.

Astoria-Megler Bridge 50th Anniversary
Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the roadway that bridged the Americas. The Astoria-Megler Bridge celebrates 50 years in 2016, and it’s going to be a huge birthday bash. There will be a reenactment of the opening of the bridge, featuring state and local dignitaries driving across the span from Astoria to Washington and back again. The festivities will commence at the Maritime Memorial Park in Uniontown. From there, the celebration continues with the Astoria Regatta Grand Land Parade in Downtown…
