Soccer in the Sand
Soccer in the Sand is a fun, two-day small-sided 5v5 beach soccer tournament played in the sand. A complimentary beach soccer clinic will be offered on the Friday evening of the tournament. Every team will be guaranteed 3 games filled with lots of touches on the ball and an environment to try all your latest moves. 4th of July Fireworks Celebration
Seaside will host the 4th of July Fireworks Celebration, one of the largest fireworks shows on the West Coast. The festivities start at dusk, which is about 10 p.m. The Seaside Police Department would like visitors to know the following: * No tents and/or overnight camping are permitted on Seaside beaches. * Visitors are asked to remove their trash. It's Run for Change 5k Fun Run/Walk, benefiting Helping Hands Re-entry Centers, assisting the homeless. Online registration opening soon. Click HERE for more details. Pre Registration: $25 per individual till July 31st, 2024 Registration: $35 per individual after July 31st, 2024 Registration table opens at 8:00 am. The Hood to Coast Relay is almost 200 miles long, stretching from Mt. Hood to the Oregon coast. The 1,050 teams of 12 runners, 3600 volunteers, and all the teams’ supporters come to the Hood to Coast Relay Finish Line at the beach in Seaside.

Lewis and Clark Salt Makers
On Saturday and Sunday, September 7th and 8th, the Seaside Museum, assisted by a grant from the City of Seaside Tourism Advisory Committee will sponsor Lewis and Clark Salt Makers. Members of the Pacific Northwest Living Historians (PNLH) will create and share the experience of that exploration group, bringing to life the salt camp which those explorers established more than 200 years ago.
