Although Seaside is among the most popular destinations on the Oregon Coast, you’ll find plenty of parking options to accommodate your visit. In addition to some private paid lots downtown, there are free public parking lots at the following locations:
Seaside Welcome Center at Highway 101 and Broadway. GPS address is 7 N. Roosevelt. Public restrooms available onsite and often space for large vehicles. Downtown Seaside is a short walk from the Welcome Center.

Public Parking Garage spots are available on the first two floors of the WorldMark parking structure. GPS address is 220 Avenue A. One block from the beach and Broadway attractions.
Avenue U unpaved lot at the Seaside Promenade. Parking lot for access to the sound end of the Prom and beach.
Spots are available across from Seltzer Park for access to the Cove beach area, including the Grave of the Unknown Sailor and Vietnam War Memorial. GPS address is 2735 Sunset Blvd. Public restrooms are available.
Oversized vehicles and travelers with trailers can often park in the large lot near the Seaside Welcome Center, which is owned and operated by Sunset Empire Park & Recreation District. Please note the large parking lot is not always available due to SEPRD events such as sports tournaments or the Seaside Farmers Market, which occurs each Wednesday in the summer. There is limited additional parking available along Necanicum Dr. between 2nd Ave and 12th Ave. RVs and trailers can also reserve enough space at one of the paid private lots downtown. In all cases and in all locations, sleeping in RVs or vehicles is NOT allowed.
A limited number of overnight parking permits are available for extra/overflow vehicles that cannot be accommodated onsite at vacation rentals or hotel properties in the City of Seaside. Permits are available at the Seaside Welcome Center during normal business hours for qualifying use. This program is a collaboration between the Seaside Police Department, Seaside Visitors Bureau, and SEPRD. Note that overnight lodging must already be arranged at time of permit, vehicle make/model and license plate are shared with police, and there is NO sleeping allowed in vehicles with overnight parking permits.
Permitted parking is at the Welcome Center lot.
