SK8 & Shred Fundraiser, Skateboard Contest at Seaside Skate Park Saturday September 23rd. 1140 Broadway.
Competition registration is the day of the event from 10 am – 12 pm. $10 registration fee per participant. Skate comp starts at 12 pm until 4pm. A fun and highly competitive Skate competition will bring talented riders together to show their stuff. Open to all ages and skill levels this judged competition will be divided into age groups: 10 and under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18 and OPEN (any age). Riders will have a run where basic skills will be required. A second run will be a FREE STYLE. Judges will rank skills based on the precision of the skater. Special demonstrations from world class pro skater, Tom Inouye and local riders will amaze all! Vendors will be there to answer questions about state of the art gear.
Music, food, awards and cash prizes will be part of this very special event to raise awareness and money to resurface our beloved skate park and refresh our popular pump track for our kids of all ages! By supporting this community event you will be supporting Kyan Harper’s Pacific project.
