Shot in Astoria: a Film Celebration
Come and see some of your favorites brought to life in this celebration of movies filmed in and around Astoria. Visiting fans and local enthusiasts alike can participate in a treasure hunt to local businesses, a guided tour on the Glam Tram, and other fun events. The Astoria-Warrenton Chamber of Commerce and the Oregon Film Museum are pleased to feature a special guest, Jack Johnson, who was a production illustrator that worked on many films including three made in Astoria: The Goonies, Kindergarten Cop and Short Circuit. Attendees during the weekend and visitors coming any time of year are reminded to view the “Goonies House” from a distance rather than going into and overcrowding the small neighborhood it is situated in.
