Join History and Hops with Clatsop County Historical Society’s executive director, Mac Burns presenting The Book of the Dead – Clatsop County Coroner Inquests 1905 – 1909. This fascinating and sometimes graphic talk highlights death and the attitudes towards death in the early 1900s. There will be an interactive game of “Dead Guy Bingo” which will keep the audience engaged.
This event is open to the public and free to attend.
Preserving Seaside’s History since 1974, the Seaside Museum and Historical Society is a non-profit educational institution with the mission to collect, preserve and interpret materials illustrative of the history of Seaside and the surrounding area.
The museum is located at 570 Necanicum Drive, Seaside and is open Wednesday – Saturday, 11AM – 4PM.
