Halloween’s but once a year, so come on out and have no fear. Fly quickly with the wings of a bat, because Seaside is where all the fun’s at. Join us for a weekend of Halloween fun with Halloween Happenin’s in Seaside.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY IN DOWNTOWN SEASIDE!
SATURDAY, OCT. 28
Halloween Happenin’s are kicked off Saturday by the Witches/Warlocks Paddle Out sponsored by the Sunset Empire Park & Recreation District. There will be a lifeguard on duty and SUP boards will be available for people to use (or bring your own!). Meet at the Quatat Park boat launch at 9 am, paddle starts at 10 am.
Right after the paddle from noon to 3 pm, join the Halloween Carnival at Quatat Park with fun games and very family friendly good times!
SUNDAY, OCT. 29
Sunday kicks off with the Pet Parade. Sign in at 9:30 am in front of The Cookie Jar. The parade will head up Broadway at 10 am sharp! Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded for best costume. After the parade, it’s time for Trunk Or Treat. From noon to 2 pm, cars lined up near the Turnaround are decorated to hand out candy to kids. Immediately after trunk or treat (around 2:15 pm), get ready for The Pumpkin Drop! A 1,000 pound pumpkin will be dropped from a giant crane into a pool full of squishy ducks & beavers which are available for purchase for $5. The mascot from each team that flies the farthest will win a cash prize.
