Where to Find Seaside Watercraft Adventures

Seaside is host to two major waterways, the Neawanna and the Necanicum, both feeding into the Necanicum Estuary. This delta creates a large, watery playground for those who travel by kayak or canoe. Tooling up and down the waterways, visitors can spot wildlife and see areas that would otherwise be inaccessible. Supplies for Seaside Watercraft Adventures

Just as there are places to explore, there are local businesses that are eager to help supply the exploration. Wheel Fun Rentals at Quatat Park offers a variety of family-friendly craft by the hour. These are shorter expeditions, as floating space is restricted to a 1/2 mile section of the river for most craft, perfect for new adventurers. Kayaking experts will enjoy the easy access from the Necanicum Estuary out into the Pacific Ocean, but those who are just learning or prefer a more mild experience will appreciate the easy-access, ADA accessible watercraft launch at Broadway Park.
