Hit the downtown sidewalks for the fall Spirit & Wine Walk (November 6-7, 2026). On Friday you’ll enjoy tastings from nine Oregon distilleries while popping in and out of participating local businesses — and picking up a few items you simply can’t live without. On Saturday sip pours from 17 Oregon wineries as you shop and mingle. Sign up for one or both evenings and you’ll receive an ID bracelet, a walking map and complimentary appetizers to fuel your spirited journey. You’ll also get a commemorative wine glass to take home with you, perfect for sipping the wine you’ll buy during the event.

Enjoy Live Music and Karaoke

You’ll find a diverse and crazy-good weekly lineup of live music at downtown’s Lyons Den. This new bar located on the Necanicum River has an impressive sound system and an overall vibe that feels like a good friend’s living room. From tropical psychedelic rock to blues and reggae, the tunes go down smooth after a day on the beach — as do the handmade cocktails from its boutique sangria bar.

The intimate Hop & Vine Bottle Shop and Taproom also offers acoustic live music on Friday and Saturday nights, plus a mind-boggling variety of beers and wines. Try a beer you’ve never tasted before, hear a new band and make new friends. A few miles north, the McMenamins Gearhart Hotel is another spot to catch live music a little earlier on Saturdays.

Feel like belting out your favorite tunes? Grab your pals and hit the sports lounge at downtown’s Twisted Fish Steakhouse every Friday and Saturday night for karaoke. Whether you want to live out your “American Idol” fantasy, do a duet with your bestie or just listen — everyone is welcome. The lineup of handcrafted beers from Sisu Brewing Co., plus premium whiskeys and expertly crafted cocktails, adds to the fun.

Nearby End of the Trail Public House also has a fully stacked bar and a fun karaoke night every Friday and Saturday; Trivia Tuesday nights are a no-miss for more cerebral types. And serious night owls will want to hit Capricorn Pub’s karaoke nights, held every night of the week until the bar closes. This is a great place to end the evening on a high note.

If you’re a history buff who loves beer, the History & Hops event held on the last Thursday of every month is a no-brainer. This free and popular lecture series co-produced by the Seaside Museum & Historical Society pairs casual community discussions on Northwest history with stellar local craft beers. From the Lewis & Clark expedition to the history behind the Seaside Brewery building — where the event is sometimes held — you’re sure to learn something new. 

For families and cinema buffs alike, there’s always time to catch a first-run film at Seaside Cinema, north of downtown. Football fans can watch evening college and NFL games on the theater-sized screen at Sisu Brewing Co., all while enjoying a hearty burger and a frosty pint. The brewery routinely broadcasts prime-time matchups like Monday Night Football and Sunday Night Football through the end of the season in February. 

If your idea of the perfect night is simply watching the sun set over the Pacific while enjoying a beach campfire and gooey s’mores with the kids, Seaside has got you there, too. Pick up supplies — wood, matches, s’mores fixins and anything else you need — at downtown shops such as Leo’s Corner or hotels like The Seashore Inn.
