Afternoon Tea and Book Talk
Beach Books is hosting author Honey Perkel, who will read selections from her new novel, Where the Plum Trees Grow. The book is based on the lives of James and Sarah Clark, who journeyed from Norwich, England, to Oregon City in 1867 in search of a new life. Much of the story is told through a series of letters written by James to his beloved wife. Promises they made to one another that were kept despite distance and death.
After the reading, there will also be a book signing.
