First Saturday Art Walk
Seaside’s First Saturday Art Walk is a free event that takes place between Holladay Drive and Broadway Street in the Historic Gilbert District of downtown Seaside.
Salon on Broadway, 600 Broadway St.
Featuring the artwork of Kegan French, owner, stylist, and artist
SunRose Gallery, 606 Broadway St.
Featuring the fine art mosaics of resident artists Anna Meyrick, Charlotte Bruhn, and Kath Jones. Also, showcasing the mixed media and upcycle art by Jan Barber, Patty Thurlby, Mari Walker, Robin Montero, Lauda Gilman, and Cathy Tippin. David Crabtree and Ray Coffey will present live music.
TigerLily Gallery, 613 Broadway St.
Features Edi Olson, an art instructor based in Vancouver, Washington. Olson often eaches painting with a palette knife, then uses a brush to refine and add detail.
Pacific Heirloom Art and Collectables, 608 Broadway St.
Featuring the handmade and mouth bloom art glass of creatures in the sea.
Fairweather House and Gallery, 612 Broadway St.
The exhibition features the newest original work from regional artists Sandy Viisse, Dorota Haber-Lehigh, Emily Miller, Gretha Lindwood, Jo Ann Pari- Mueller, Martha Lee, and Jan Rimmerman. Artist talks at 5: 30 p.m. Neal Maine, naturalist, biologist, and photographer, lectures at 6 p.m.
The Whet Spot, 12 N. Holladay Dr.
Seaside’s taproom features all the local Northwest named beers, wines, ciders, and an ever-changing gallery display of local abstract and whimsical art.
Starry Night Inn and Art Hotel, 811 1st Ave.
Each room in the hotel, including the lobby, dining room, and halls, features original art and prints from a curated list of Portland, Oregon artists.
