Seaside’s First Saturday Art Walk is a free event that takes place between Holladay Drive and Broadway Street in Seaside’s Historic Gilbert District.
Tiger Lily Boutique and Art Gallery 613 Broadway Street
It features water colorist Scott C. Johnson, who developed the Japanese tradition’s soft washes and refined line work for Persian miniatures. Scott’s work reflects the changing moods and impending weather of the Pacific Northwest. Scott currently resides in Cannon Beach, Oregon.
Beach Bum Laser Designs 606 Broadway Street
They have moved from Holladay Drive to a storefront on Broadway Street, where they offer engraving and laser cutting. Laser cutting uses a focused beam to precisely cut and/or engrave designs into wood, creating intricate shapes, patterns, and even 3D designs with high accuracy and efficiency.
Pacific Heirloom and Collectibles 608 Broadway Street
The place features an extensive collection of glass paperweights. The owners selected glass that is in good condition. A few marks “can be forgiven and polished out as a collectible. What to look for is intentional air bubbles and a well-centered design.”
Fairweather House and Gallery 612 Broadway Street
This is the opening reception for Forces of Nature, an exhibition on the Pacific Northwest spring weather season. It features pastel seascape paintings by Seaside artist Kathy Esnard and original oil oceanscape paintings by Lee Munsell, Ron Nicolaides, and Carol Thompson. Seaside acoustic musician Jason Lambert will provide live music from 5 to 6 p.m.
The Whet Spot 12 North Holladay Drive
Features abstract artist Kandy Schwartz, a resident of Seaside. It also features many other local artists. Patrons can enjoy craft beers, ciders, and wines in the newly expanded gathering room, which features a gallery wall for artists.

They have an open house featuring spring-themed junque journals by Valora Eastman, steampunk jewelry by Janette Louis, quilted paintings by Ronni Harris, and sand dollar mosaics & paintings by Mimi Cernyar Fox. Light appetizers and Cathy’s artwalk tea will be served.
