DachSand 2026

7th Annual! Weekend packed weenie fun!

This is Doxies of PNW’s biggest annual fundraiser. Come and join the fun with over 400 of dachshunds and meet lots of great people.

There will be a silent auction, raffle baskets, 50/50 raffle, merch table, doxie items for sale, costume contest, doxie derby, longest weener(new this year), concessions and more….

Join in all the fun!!!!

~ 3pm to 5pm – Ruby’s for 6th Annual kickoff, Mascot debut. They will have dog activities, raffle baskets, treats (human & ween). The restaurant will be closed & reserved just for DachSand.

~ 7:30pm – Weenie roast fire on the beach, south of the Turnaround just 30ft or so away from the ramps, just look for weenies and fire lol. You have to supply you own hot dogs & smores. Plates / napkins / sticks will be provided. Bring whatever else you want. Bring your own drinks (alcohol is allowed, no glass ), a blanket, chairs, etc to sit and hangout. This even will last 2-4 hrs so come anytime, if the fires still burning come on down.

~ 12pm – Group photo (meet in the sand across from the Aquarium)

~ 12:30pm – DachSand 2026, meet in the sand across from the Aquarium. There will be a merch table, sign in books, raffle baskets, silent auction, 50/50 raffle, random giveaways, longest weener (NEW), costume contest, doxie derby, concessions and human slot machine, belly rub scratchers (NEW).

12:30-1:30 – Back by popular demand Kizzie Jones, author of the Dachshund Tall Tales series will be joining us on the beach this year for a book signing  you can find her by the auction & raffle tables.

~ 1pm – 2pm – Get your photo taken by Willow Bee Photography (PRE-PAY THIS YEAR MORE DETAILS TO COME LATER). She’s offering 2 free downloads (the group photo & another photo of your choice) and then other photos are available for purchase at her website.

~ 1:30pm – Last call for raffles/auction and gather up for the drawings

~ 2pm – All drawings

~ 3pm – 5pm – Competitions!! Longest Weener (NEW), Doxie Derby (limited to 150) and Costume Contests on the beach! Registration will be online & in person, and until 1:30pm Saturday. ***wait list signup will open up to 15 people at 1pm. Thye go to it starting at 1:30pm if there are openings.

~ 6pm – Gather up all your doxies and head downtown. Walk, mingle, shop and eat. Lets show off those weeners!!
(If there are other events going on downtown please respect them and stay CLEAR of their area).
*** This is not a parade just head down and start walk around & hang out.

~ 9am – Beach walk hosted by Jessica from Adventurewiener Club, meet at the ramps to the south of the Turnaround.

~ 11am – Tour the Aquarium, free tray of fish to feed the seals per doxie again this year!
