4th of July Fireworks Celebration

Seaside hosts one of the largest official fireworks shows on the West Coast each Independence Day right on the beach next to the Pacific Ocean. The show begins at dusk, approximately 10 p.m.

Please read and understand the following before attending the fireworks celebration. You will be expected to follow these important rules:

• No tents and/or overnight camping are permitted on the beach in Seaside.
• Remove your trash upon leaving the beach. Empty bags are available in many locations on the beach. Leave your filled trash bags next to public trash.
• No fireworks – including legal fireworks – are allowed in the “Free Zone” on the immediate north and south of the Turnaround, inside the orange fencing.
• Only fireworks legal in Oregon are allowed in city limits and on the beach.
• Beach fires must be 50 feet from dune grasses, with a fire and pit no more than 3 feet deep, 3 feet wide, and 3 feet high (flames). For the safety of emergency crews and beach-goers, all fires must be extinguished completely and pits filled back in. Pallets are not allowed. Accelerants are not allowed.
• Visitors who aren’t staying the night in local hotels should park on the east side of the Necanicum River to avoid a 60 to 90 minute (sometimes more) traffic delay following the fireworks show. Please park in legally designated parking spots and avoid private property.
