Seaside’s First Saturday Art Walk

The Seaside First Saturday Art Walk is all about the arts. Visitors wander, meet artists, sip wine or sample appetizers by favorite restaurants or personal chefs. They can view artist demonstrations, listen to an artist talk or enjoy live performances in music. The art walk is held on the first Saturday of every month, 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at businesses, shops, boutiques and dining establishments located between Holladay Drive and Broadway in the historic Gilbert District of downtown Seaside with courtesy parking available on the corner of Holladay and Oceanway.

Visit with owner/artist Cathy Tippin who creates broken china mosaics in the French tradition.

Moxie, Shine On! 609 Broadway, in the Kirwin Building

Moxie features exclusive jewelry and art where everything is handmade.

Fairweather House and Gallery, 612 Broadway, in the Gilbert Building

Opening reception for IRISH LANDS, featuring artist Michael Muldoon and photographer Richard Newman, each who traveled to Ireland, for the first time, on separate trips, and have created signature art to document their experiences.

Beach Books, 616 Broadway, in the Gilbert Building

Featuring artist Jim Zaleski, who combines the traditional art forms of painting and drawing with a computer world to produce art that is loaded with whimsy.

T.anjuli Gallery, 7 North Holladay Drive, in the Wheatley/ Desler Building

Artist Billy Lutz is the gallery owner/ resident artist/ Seaside philosopher. His art work focuses on what lies beneath appearances having reemerged back into the field of opposites, the irrational landscape, now exposed, and is stitched into the physical realm for all to see.
