Seaside Dash to Safety 5k

The City of Seaside and Sunset Empire Park and Recreation District are partnering up again for the Seaside Dash to Safety 5K run/walk. This event will headline a series of activities aimed at raising awareness for emergency preparedness. Following the run/walk is the Seaside Safety Fair that takes place at Seaside Heights Elementary School. The 5K begins at 9:00am and the Safety Fair will run from 9:30am to 12:00pm and feature a bike rodeo for kids, car seat clinic, fire, ambulance and water safety education, pedestrian safety, a child I.D. clinic as well as information on north coast parenting and poison safety.
Cost to participate in the 5K is $20 or $10 for high school students and includes a t-shirt. The Safety Fair is free to attend. To register click here or visit sunsetempire.com. Race packets can be picked up at Sunset Empire on the Friday before the race or the day of the race at Seaside Heights.
